At Gradyent we're looking for a HR Associate to join our team.

Who We Are

A quarter of all energy in the world is consumed to heat buildings. District heating is the most significant opportunity for cities to decarbonise. Gradyent is on a mission to help cities to decarbonise faster by digitising district heating with our digital twin. Backed by a group of top investors, we are scaling the platform globally.

We currently have a team of 120+ people and offices in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Germany, Poland, and Hungary. Our team combines programmers and energy specialists, data scientists and top-tier consulting alums. We are expanding quickly and looking for an Integration Engineer to work with our clients and integrate their data into our product offerings.

What We Do

We offer a SaaS solution to create digital twins of heating networks. These digital twins, powered by AI and analytics, optimise (district) heating networks from heat sources to customers. As a result, we are transforming networks by reducing CO2 emissions and optimising operations in terms of temperatures, pressures, costs and other metrics.

What You Will Do

Gradyent has developed from a start-up to a scale-up: we are active in more than 6 countries in Europe (including the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, and Poland) and are working on further expansion. We are looking for an HR colleague who enjoys and finds it challenging to support us in various HR tasks:

  • Drafting contracts in English (from a template)

  • Preparing and coordinating employee on-boarding and off-boarding.

  • Performing various administrative tasks such as registering personnel data (notifying of anniversaries, birthdays, milestones, absences, etc.), salary changes, and staff purchases.

  • Being the contact person for UWV/government institutions and external payroll partner

  • Being the point of contact for employees for various HR-related questions about, i.e., vacation leave, sick leave and compensation

  • Keeping the HR systems (Hooray and Remote) up to date.

  • Thinking along and discussing the development of HR capabilities and policies yet to be realized

  • Support our international expansion, i.e., international labour law and regulations.

     

    Office Management:

  • Distributing key cards, NS Business cards, office keys and scheduling meetings;

  • Managing office supplies;

  • Coordinating office drinks, lunches, and events.

Who You Are

  • Successfully completed a higher education program in Human Resources (HBO), vocational qualification (MBO), or a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a related field.

  • You are available for 32-40 hours per week.

  • Having HR administrative experience

  • You have good verbal and written skills in both Dutch and English – German is a plus.

  • You have strong problem-solving abilities. You are communicative, social, enthusiastic, a good listener, have a positive attitude, and confidence. You are precise, observant, and attentive.

  • You dare to take initiative and responsibility. You are flexible, resilient, able to work with deadlines, and have an eye for detail.
